About Us

Assemble To Serve Humanity (ASH) is a nonprofit organization that is registered in the State of South Carolina with a mission to bring people together to tackle the pressing challenges of homelessness and poverty. Our goal is to raise awareness and advocate for shelter solutions that will help individuals, families, and communities successfully transition into proper housing. By prioritizing the three crucial words of "assemble," "serve," and "humanity," we believe we can eliminate all forms of homelessness and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Our Story

In 2006, a young woman had a vision for a better world where everyone, regardless of their identity, had access to basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing, and healthcare. Her passion to turn this dream into a reality led her to mobilize the masses, determined to make the American Dream a reality for all. This eventually led her to conceive of a non-profit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid. The organization was informally called Project ASH. She then shared her idea with a group of like-minded peers who immediately accepted the challenge.

On August 8, 2022, Assemble To Serve Humanity (ASH) was founded to help the homeless and impoverished population. As the pandemic year progressed, it became apparent that more and more individuals were left without basic amenities and living below the poverty line. In response, ASH hosted its inaugural "We Care Packages" Distribution Event on December 2, 2022, providing care packages to those in need.

On September 11, 2023, ASH was officially registered as a non-profit organization in the state of South Carolina. Today, ASH has grown into a compassionate movement that strives to help disadvantaged groups. By organizing events, advocating, and proposing a vision to address key issues affecting the target population, ASH aims to make a positive impact on society. Their ultimate goal is to bring individuals, families, and communities closer to housing success and end homelessness. With their unwavering commitment to serving humanity, ASH continues to inspire people to join their noble cause and make a difference in our world.
